Available standard foils and chemicals
Standard foils and chemicals are mainly used for x-ray energy calibration which should be carried out prior to taking XAS data of your sample. The x-ray energy may be calibrated using absorption edge energy of a standard foil or white line of a standard chemical that contains same species of x-ray absorbing atoms as in your sample.
