SAXSIT เป็นโปรแกรมสำหรับจัดการข้อมูล SAXS ถูกเขียนบน Matlab และ compile เป็น executable ซึ่งสามารถ run บน Windows (64 bit หรือ 32 bit) ได้โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องมี Matlab

โปรแกรม SAXSIT ถูกแบ่งเป็น module ซึ่งใช้ในการจัดการแผนผัง SAXS เช่น การทำ pattern alignment การทำ background subtraction และการทำ circular averaging และยังมีเครื่องมือสำหรับการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเบื้องต้น เช่น การหาตำแหน่ง peak การหาความชันกราฟสำหรับ Guinier และ Porod approximation การคำนวณ orientation factor หรือ การทำ modeling ต่างๆ รวมถึงการจัดการข้อมูล เช่น การรวมข้อมูล (data merging) จากการวัดที่ระยะ sample-detector ต่างกัน

- Automated data processing to automatically process multiple patterns with the same setup (such as patterns from the same sample at different temperature)

- Radial integration (to obtain 1D profile as a function of azimuthal angle)

- Calculation of Hermans orientation factor

- Guinier and Porod fits (to obtain radii of gyration or slope)

- Profile smoothing

- Data merging

- Normalization of data sets by area under curve

- Peak search

- Nano particle size and size distribution fitting

- Rod + Debye-Bueche model fitting

- Core-shell with sticky hard sphere model fitting

- Paracrystalline model fitting

- Peak function fitting (Pseudo Voigt and Pearson VII)

สำหรับการใช้งาน SAXSIT นั้น ผู้ที่ไม่มีโปรแกรม Matlab ต้อง run โปรแกรม MCRInstaller.exe หนึ่งครั้งบนเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ก่อน 
 
SAXSIT และ คู่มือการใช้โปรแกรมสามารถ download ได้ด้านล่าง โดยมีให้เลือกสำหรับการใช้บน Windows 64 bit (ไฟล์ SAXSIT3p70_64bit.rar และ SAXSIT_SETUP64bit.rar) หรือ Windows 32 bit (ไฟล์ SAXSIT3p70_32bit.rar และ SAXSIT_SETUP32bit.rar) (ในกรณีที่มีการ update โปรแกรม SAXSIT เป็น version ใหม่ เพียง download ไฟล์โปรแกรม โดยไม่จำเป็นต้อง download ไฟล์ SETUP อีก)

SAXSIT ยังบรรจุโมดูลสำหรับ run ในแบบอัตโนมัติ สำหรับการ process แผนผังจำนวนมากที่วัดใน setup เดียวกัน เช่น ตัวอย่างที่วัดขณะที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอุณหภูมิ

เมื่อ download โปรแกรมแล้ว ให้ unzip จากนั้นโปรดเปิดไฟล์ readme_HowToInstall_SAXSIT.txt เพื่อดูวิธีการติดตั้งโปรแกรม
 
โปรดทราบว่าโปรแกรม SAXSIT นั้นมีการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงตลอดเวลา และจะมีการ update เป็นช่วงๆ หากพบเจอแมลงปีกแข็ง (bug) หรือข้อผิดพลาด โปรดติดต่อ    supagorn หรือ siriwat
