Project information for IPAC2022 Grant for Young ASEAN Researcher and Scientist 

1. Grants   

               Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization), SLRI support the Grant for Young ASEAN Researcher and Scientist for participating in the 13th International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC’22) from June 12 – 17, 2022, at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, Thailand. IPAC is the main international event for the worldwide accelerator community and industry. Attendees will be presented with cutting-edge accelerator research and development results and gain the latest insights into accelerator facilities across the globe. Over 1,000 delegates and 70 industry exhibits are expected to attend this remarkable and noteworthy event. This is a unique opportunity to meet, interact and network with accelerator scientists, engineers, students, and industrial vendors. 2. Application Qualification 

           • Full-time researcher / lecturer / scientist in ASEAN academic institutions
           • Having work experience in the position less than 10 years

 

3. Application Requirements   

           • Certification of Employment issuing by the institute, department, or university
           • Curriculum Vitae
           • 1-Page motivation letter

 

4. Criteria for evaluation

           • Research experience and achievement (Curriculum Vitae)
           • 1-Page motivation letter explaining the research background on accelerators, synchrotron facilities, and the expectation for participating in the IPAC2022

 

5. Application Procedure

           Applicants can fill in the application form and upload the required documents via the website https://beamapp.slri.or.th/. Please create your profile account first, then apply for the “IPAC2022 Grant for Young ASEAN Researcher and Scientist” within May 18, 2022

3	Accommodation	Single room at IBIS Bangkok IMPACT for 5 nights (nights of 12 – 16 June 2022)
4	Daily Allowance	2,100 Baht (350 per day)
5	Attendance	The recipients can attend all scientific programs. Please note that the social events (welcome reception and banquet) are not included in this grant.
