Thailand Experimental Particle Physics for Novices (ThEP Noi)
As its name, the Thailand Experimental Particle Physics for Novices (ThEPNoi) program is organized for the 3rd and the 4th year undergrads to introduce an experimental particle physics course. The course is developed from the training program for CERN-DESY summer student candidates. The course includes (1) Introduction to particle physics, (2) Related theories, including Standard Model, and Beyond Standard Model, (3) Introduction to Monte Carlo simulation and data analysis. The computational laboratory will be included to the course where students will practice the computer programming (in C++) and data analysis of given data sets. At the end of the course, the final examination will be provided. Students who are declared as having successfully passed the examination will be awarded the diplomas.
