Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (Public Organization), TINT, and Synchrotron Light Research (Public Organization), SLRI successfully co-organized the "Workshop on Accelerator Applications in Research" on 21-24 August 2023 at Centrara Grand @ Central Plaza Ladprao in Bangkok, TINT in Pathum Thani and Nakhon Nayok, and SLRI in Nakhon Ratchasima.

         The workshop is a part of the ASEAN Large Nuclear and Synchrotron Facilities Network (LNSN) and was held back-to-back with the 2023 ASEAN-Japan Innovation Week organized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. The aims of the workshop are to disseminate the knowledge of accelerator technology and its applications among ASEAN Member States, to promote utilization of accelerator technology in research as well as utilization of infrastructure available in ASEAN, and to promote collaboration among ASEAN researchers working on accelerator applications.

           The workshop warmly welcomed 11 participants from ASEAN member states who joined on-site, while approximately 50 participants joined online via the Zoom application.
