Welcome to Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization), SLRI
The Siam Photon Laboratory is the national laboratory providing public users from governmental sectors, educational institutes, and private sectors services of both synchrotron light technology and equipped facilities in relation to synchrotron light related techniques. Research works to be applied for services at the Siam Photon Laboratory are divided into three types:
1. General research: Refers to a research which its results will be publicized to the public, for example, in a form of an articlepublished in ajournal,
2. Proprietary research: Refers to a research which its results will be intentionally kept confidential for commercial purpose, and
3. Classified research: Refers to a research which is related to government confidentiality or national security.
Researchers or those who are interested in using synchrotron light and related techniques are required to submit their research proposals via website www.slri.or.th for further proposal review by SLRI qualified committee. The submission could be done all year round.
The Users Service Division will inform the proposal applicants afterward, if qualified, of the review result and beamtime allocation.
Registered users can get access to the websitevia “Request for Beamtime” while the new users are required to register before accessing. For those who have already registered via the website, please log in for proposal submission. The proposal submission can be done throughout the year.
Users are recommended to learn for informationoneachapplication techniqueprovided at the Siam Photon Laboratory before submission of the project to make sure that the interested technique can be applied with the proposal. More information related to each beamline servicecan be found on its site.
Project proposals would be reviewedby SLRI’s qualified committee based on the project’s merit. After getting qualified, the applicants would gain access to beamtime application without any service charge. For more information, please contact:
