On Monday, 21st August 2017, H.E. Dr. Atchaka Sibunruang, the Minister of Science and Technology Thailand made an inspection visit to Synchrotron Light Research Institute (SLRI) on the occasion of Council of Ministers' tour at Nakhon Ratchasima province. "This is my second time to visit SLRI in order to follow up the work-in-progress of the institute. In this opportunity, I have seen the vaccuum furnace for brazing two or more of the different materials. While reducing the import budget, this furnace also offers suitable hygenic output for synchrotron light source and substantial brazing joint with least defect and error. Moreover, synchrontron-based knowledege can be applied to develop accerlerator radiation cancer therapy and other magnets for the accelerator. These mentioned technologies are truly done by our personnels in from Thailand. Such achievement of synchrotron technology will prepare our country to upgrade synchrotron light source to the next generation, leading to the increase of research capacity for industries and innovation" said H.E. Dr. Atchaka Sibunruang, the Minister of Science and Technology.
